METEORITE CREED

1. I am powerless over meteorites and it has made my life unmanageable.

2. I came to believe that a meteorite, greater than myself, could restore me to sanity.

3. I made a decision to turn my will and my life over to my collecting, as I understood it.

4. I made a searching and fearless moral inventory of all my meteorites, leaving out nothing, not even the ones I am trying to hide from my wife.

5. I admitted to God, to myself, and to another human being the exact size of my inventory.

6. I became entirely ready to make my collection of meteorites into something of beauty.

7. I humbly ask God to remove my non-meteorite distractions.

8. I made a list of all my unfinished meteorite projects, and became willing to finish them all.

9. I finished those projects whenever possible, except when to do so would diminish my meteorite stash in some important area.

10. I continued to take my meteorite inventory and when I was cheating about how many I had, or what I really paid for them, promptly admitted it.

11. I sought through touch and manipulation to improve my constant contact with my meteorite stash, praying only for knowledge of what they were to become, and the power to carry that out.

12. Having created a beautiful collection as a result of these steps, I tried to share my joy with the other meteorite addicts on the internet so that they too may practice these techniques, with the help of E-Bay.
